Use this B2B checklist when sourcing skateboards, custom decks, longboards or surfskates for the United States or Canada. Fengyuan is a China-based manufacturer; this guide helps you prepare a practical product brief and quotation request, not replace importer, broker or legal advice.
Start with the destination and selling model
State whether the products will be sold in the United States, Canada or both, and whether your company is a brand, distributor, skate shop or another business buyer. Include the intended rider, age group, channel and target launch window. Destination-market requirements must be checked against the exact SKU rather than assumed from a category name.
Send a brief that can be quoted accurately
- Product category: complete skateboard, custom skateboard deck, longboard or surfskate.
- Deck dimensions, construction, graphics, components, packaging and any product references.
- Sample quantity, expected order quantity and desired delivery timing.
- Destination country and delivery city or port, plus any importer, labeling, testing or document questions already identified.
Keep the compliance and freight discussion product-specific
U.S. and Canadian commercial-import workflows differ. Before placing an order, confirm the applicable tariff classification, importer responsibilities, documentation, labeling, product testing and freight assumptions with the parties responsible for your shipment. Fengyuan can review the requested product specification and provide order documents under the agreed quotation; final requirements remain SKU- and destination-specific.
Choose the next sourcing step
For an existing configuration, start with the sample program. For branded product development, use the private-label program. You can also review custom skateboard decks, custom longboards and surfskate sourcing before sending an RFQ.
